What is Women in STEM Day ?
Women in STEM Day 2022 will be on Saturday, December 10th from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm, and is open to the first 120 high school women who register. Students will start the day with lab demonstrations that showcase various facets of engineering. Accompanying lunch will be a panel discussion led by experts from STEM fields, including faculty and students. Other highlights of WISD 2022 will include a keynote speaker and the coveted Engineering Olympics, in which students will team up for a series of design and communication projects.

Drop off is from 9:30 am to 10:00 am on Saturday, December 10th at Marymount School of New York (1026 Fifth Avenue, which is between 83rd and 84th on 5th Ave, directly across from the Met) and pick up will be at the same location at 4:00 pm.

Q: Do the students need to come with an educator from their school?
A: No. While educators are welcome to attend the event, a student can come to the event independently.

Q: What is the best part about Women in STEM Day?
A: We loves seeing how happy and enthusiastic the girls are about STEM fields! Hopefully, they enjoy coming to our event and exploring STEM in a new light, connecting with women and female engineers, and participating in design challenges.
